Duties: Liasion with Town offices and Boards and report on community news, activities, and events which be of of interest to Nassau Point residents.

Conservation Committee

Duties: Monitor and report on issues related to Nassau Point public health and sanitation, water supply and shoreline preservation.

Deer Committee
Harry Kutner, Chair

Duties: Monitor the effect of deer on Nassau Point and report findings to government agencies; work with government agencies to alleviate negative environmental impact made by deer; and communicate to NPPOA members about the Deer Committee and its findings.

Historian

Duties: Conduct on-going research on Nassau Point history with a focus on developing a cohesive prospective of Nassau Point and its development; sharing, as appropriate information with the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library and relevant historical societies; maintain records of the Nassau Point Property Owners Association (NPPOA).

Duties:  Maintain membership records, track membership trends, contact newcomers, develop annual membership communications, coordinate membership related correspondence, and oversee publication of the annual Membership Directory.

Duties:  Prepare and distribute meeting and event notices and related correspondence.  Collect and edit material and coordinate publication of the Association's newsletter.

Police & Fire Protection

Duties:  Oversee Board communications and reports regarding police and fire department matters and issues concerning public utilities on Nassau Point.
 

Property & Planning

Duties:  Oversee matters pertaining to roads and transportation, zoning and building ordinances, and property maintenance and improvement.

Right of Ways

Duties:  Identify ROW (Rights of Way) owned by NPPOA, coordinate communications regarding ROW with NPPOA membership, set guidelines for maintenance and use of these properties to enhance their value for all members. 

Treasurer

Duties: Maintain custody of NPPOA's funds; keep full and accurate accounts of all invoices, coordinate receipts and disbursements; work with other board members to develop an annual budget; file tax returns; and discharge the usual and routine financial obligations of the Association.
